Chapter twenty-four

Serena was crying but Denzel could not really understand what was wrong with her, why she was crying.

Getting up he announced," I will get something for you till then sit here." 

Serena sobbed under her breath when Denzel walked away. Serena was so sad for him that she did not know what to do. She wanted to do something for him.

At first, she thought he might be a bad person and married her for some reason but what she heard from his grandpa, she could feel how torturous his childhood was.

Seeing Denzel come over her, she wiped off her tears with both of her hands. She had suffered because of her aunt, uncle, and her cousin sister.
