"Get him!" A hoarse voice yelled after me as I ran.

I turned back and looked at the dead body of Eric lying not too far from me and tears trickled down my eyes.

How in hell had this happened? How had Eric died?

It was all my fault, I had been careless and had underestimated the strength of those genetically enhanced soldiers.

But still, they weren't supposed to be able to put us in this state. Everything was strange. I was an Alpha and was still forced to run with my tail in between my legs.
