Alpha Damian..

"Alpha," a guard who rushed in called; he was breathing heavily with his head bowed to the ground. He was sweating like he was being chased by something behind him.

"Ezra," I called. I could recognize him; he was the guard assigned to guard my mother's chambers.

I stood to my feet, sensing the sense of urgency in his voice.

"What is it?" I questioned

"Luna Isabella slumped," my brows etched in confusion. What does he mean by slumped? She was the one I left earlier this morning.

"Where is she?" I demanded, dismissing all thoughts that ran through my head. I needed to be sure she was okay first.

"In her room." I rushed off, leaving the guard behind in the direction of her room. What could have gone wrong? She was well this morning.

Sweat dripped down the back of my head at the worst scenario that could happen.

When I got to her chambers, she was lying on the bed, and she looked like she was just having a nap. Peaceful.

"Mother," I called, but there was no response.
