Chapter 14

Luke's pov

Tonight was peaceful and quiet... As I ran through the woods to exercise my wolf who needed to be free and needed the run. I kept on running for what looked like hours.

My past still haunts me like it happened yesterday, as days pass by I keep holding on to this guilt, that I can't tell alone, my wolf and I can't tell anyone. This has hindered me from opening up to finding a mate, someone to love and cherish, someone to call my own.

My wolf didn't seem to stop as it kept on running right into the night, but I was halted on my track by a sudden scream that came not far from where I was, the scream came again it was like the lady was in pain

So I walked slowly towards the area where the screams came from when I got there I saw a woman lying lifeless on the floor, what was a woman doing here in the woods late in the night, I looked around me, it wasn't a familiar area for me.

I must have crossed the border again, I am no longer at Lycan, and can't possibly leave the lady here,
