- Why is she calling? – Logan half asked and half growled, seeming to be trying to contain the dislike he had for his mother. Especially when, days ago, she'd told him that Victoria usually never remembered to call to wish her or Megan a Merry Christmas, unless one of them made the first move.

- Maybe Megan told her about the software... - Missy reflected, knowing that financial success was one of the few things that really made Victoria happy and proud, although it didn't make much sense that Megan had warned her about that - I think I'd better answer ...
