Chapter 78: Resource Warehouse

Hana put the red challenge sheet back down on the table. She was looking for someone in the top five to challenge, not expecting it to come so quickly. But who Sirrius was was still what concerned Hana the most right now. She planned that after refining the new arrow for Blue Heart, she would come to Claura to ask her about his background.

In Mr. Renci's room, Jackson lay curled up in a chair by the fireplace. Mr. O.Renci sat at his desk with a mess of papers. The old Bud lay squirming on the window occasionally, signaling his existence to others.

"She'll hate me, surely?" Jackson said in a whisper.

Mr. Renci threw down the pen in his hand and said to Jackson, "That's your plan, and I support you unconditionally,"

Mr. Renci's comforting words did not make Jackson's mood any better. He buried his face deep between his arms and whispered, "Damn it, O.Renci, I fell in love with her,"
