Needing to live.

“Aida, shit, what shall I do?” Rafe’s eyes look to mine in the rear view mirror.

What do we do? They’ll recognise this car, if Mav is among the passengers he will have already radioed in to check the registration number of the SUV. There was no point out running them, we would end up in the same location anyway.

“Just stop the car Rafe, they’ll already know it’s us.” I sigh, mentally preparing myself for Lance’s anger.

Our convoy of cars slow down and park up neatly on the side of the road. The oncoming vehicles didn’t share our thoughtfulness towards other road users. Their breaks were slammed in a hurry and covered both lanes, leaving tyre marks. These Lycans were pissed.

Lance doesn’t even wait for his security detail to exit the cars before he has swung his door open and opened mine at his new super fast speed.

“Get…out!” He seethes at me.
