“Mi amore, I have an important meeting this morning, but I’ll see you in the afternoon, then we’ll have dinner. Ever will take you to the mall, para makapaglibang ka rin, then I’ll meet you there later this afternoon, right after my meeting, so we can spend some more quality time together.

Evan is used to commanding and giving orders, at hindi iyon nalalayo sa kung paano magbigay ng direksyon at utos si Brent, but with Evan it feels different. His commanding voice is somewhat possessive, and I can’t help but feel special. Ang pakiramdam ko ay hindi niya kaya na mawala ako sa kan’ya, kaya naman nagbibigay iyon sa akin ng kakaiba na pakiramdam. A feeling that I am wanted and needed all the time.

"Harper, you are lost again somewhere."

Naiiling na lumapit siya sa akin at h******n ako sa labi. “What are you thinking about? Narinig mo ba ang mga sinabi ko?" Dire-diretso pa niya na pagtatanong sa akin.

"Oo. Pasensya ka na at may iniisip lang ako."

"And what is it that you’re thinking? I
