Chapter 28

I spent the next few days deliberating on whether or not I wanted to attend my sister's welcome home party, and by the day of I couldn't stop myself from agreeing to go.  It hadn't helped that Amanda had harassed me a good bit about going and of course Travis, who my parents had invited wouldn't let me forget about the whole thing either.

Standing in front of the lit up house I squinted wondering exactly why i had even come here.  Music could be heard blaring within and I could make out multiple party goers passing by the windows with drinks in hand, it seemed that the party was already raging.

"Lets go." Travis said as he took my hand.

Even though I had insisted on coming by myself Travis had ambushed me outside of my hotel room and had followed me the whole way here.

"Who said you could touch me?" I asked looking down at our entwined hands.  "Remove it."
