A Week Later

“Ty, we need to do something. Russell’s harassing people in town. He’s sure they’re hiding out the location from him.” Ben came back with a couple of the guys from a grocery run to the next town over, along with other chores. This is what he found out when he stopped by the post office to pick up the mail. “The postmaster was being harassed when I got there by a couple of Russell’s men. They think she’s hiding from him.” Rose stood in the hallway outside of the kitchen, listening in. Her heart was in her throat. Her father was still looking for her. When would he stop?
