    The day that Arla and I smacked into the barrier I was surprised. I had always thought that the Fae had been eradicated. I never even knew that what was close to pack borders would be a faction of Fae. The intimidation alone had me quickly taking steps backwards but the loud clatter of another wolf running towards us had the guard quickly taking me into the mirror. I watched from the other side as Josh’s big sandy  blond wolf shook his head and looked around. Unable to see where I had gone he turned around and headed back towards the car.

    “Orion, let the girl go. You are scaring the poor girl.” The beautiful goddess that I had seen walking yesterday had appeared walking up towards where the guard had me held tightly by the scruff of my neck.

    “Shift young Lycan. You will not be harmed in my presence.” she said.
