Twenty-Two: Maids’ Talk

Rumors in Hell’s Hall were a thriving thing. We’d barely started cleaning the backyard when the maids broke into all sorts of rumors.

I kept my ears on the floor, waiting to hear anything that might be of interest to me. I wanted to hear anything that might prove to be useful about the Alpha or his Beta.
