Liam had just turned four. Wolves could only mind-link when they were six or seven, with a few exceptions like Liam. His voice shook a little when he said, ‘I t-tried so many times. Um…Aunt Lucy, a-are you coming home soon?’
That was a very unusual question. The fact that Liam forced himself to mind-link her was another thing to be worried about. She tried to mask her anxiety when she continued speaking to him in a soft, assuring voice, ‘Well, I’ll have to ask Uncle Xandar.
