My day had gotten busier and busier by the second, but I couldn't complain because I knew exactly how much workload would come with overtaking territories to build my own pack and I welcomed it.

As I thought back to the very start of my day, I couldn't recall a time when I’d stepped out of my work chambers to get a breath of fresh air. Instead, I’d immediately buried myself in work after my morning training was completed and I wasn’t halfway done despite that.

Once in a while, I glanced through a book the elder had given me and swore that I’d not lived until I’d read it. Funny enough, I finished the book within two days when she first gave me but when I returned it to her and provide a satisfying answer to the things she’d quizzed me on, she gave it back to me and asked that I read it with an open mind this time around.
