Chapter 22

Austin P.O.V

I should have known she would leave. She's stubborn and would do anything for her family. I'm so stupid. Damnit! I slam my hand on Dad's desk, hating how blind I was.

"Don't blame yourself, Austin. She did what she thought was right" it's not the first time Mom has told me that. She's been gone three days. She would have told us when she arrived at Silverstone despite how angry I would have been when she would. But no call came so we can only assume the worst.
