Chapter Five - The meet and greet -

Unknown POV

The first two periods went by like a daze, this one was dragging out so badly. They always bore me, but this one today was.way worse than usual because I seem to know the answers to the questions before the teacher asks them. She just repeats everything. To old fashioned and predictable she is, I giggle to me. Miss Ava while younger than most is to off in la-la land most of the time so we all just read or to have conversations and Mr Hamlock well he is way too old. Never shaves, never showers, and never does any teacher or anything for that matter. Just says "get out the booklet and do the pages until it's done"! Closes his eyes and snores so loud we aren't sure how Mrs Clamington has heard him.

As the principal you'd think she'd be onto it. This teacher though it is a little Strange. Miss Alice is her name but we haven't had her before. She introduced herself as the sub for our usual teacher, Mrs Claminton was with her but, I don't know it seems odd. Shaking my head, I'm probably overthinking it like I do most of the time.

Fourth period is my favourite. Call me a sucker for bad romance and ancient supernatural creatures and you know me in a nutshell. Anything romantic even hopelessly romantic and ancient and I'm all ears.

Fourth period is history and I love to learn about everything about werewolves, vampires and mythical and supernaturals, where they originally come from and how they lived back then. The special powers the Vampires possess and the ranks of the wolves ohhh, ohhh and Lycans. That sort of thing has always intrigued me. Mr Crayton is our history teacher and boy is he good at teaching. He doesn't have that monotone, droning voice either. It's harsh and hearty and he gets into the content he reads. Which makes it way better, he makes you want to learn, and it lets you finish the day on a good vibe not a bad one.

The bell went and I was up first, out the door first and skipping to my last class. Walking in quickly to the back far left corner I take the seat I always sit in. Away from everyone else, just how I like it. Mr Crayton has been talking most of class about The Great War we had with the humans. Hunters as they are called when I smelt something, I didn't react to it though but I felt it. Coffee and soap. Wait soap chuckling inwardly, concentrate on class girl I thought.

Mr Crayton was finishing his long-winded segment on the human vs supernatural war. The Great War and I was lost in everything he was saying. It was captivating and luring. I was so intrigued in all of what he was saying that before I knew it the bell rang to signal the end of school.

Damn I was starting to get lost in the ancient scroll Mr Crayton was reading from about our Great War. Sighing I started to stretch my body as I didn't realise, I was scrunched over my desk, learning so far forward, my hands gripping the front of my desk. I was so intrigued I lost track of everything else and didn't even notice a new student had walked in and was standing next to him.

"Everyone put your books away and before you leave, I'd like to Introduce you all to our new class and pack members." Mr Crayton announces.

Everyone starts to put their books away and move around to leave like Mr Crayton hadn't said anything. Except for me. I was starstruck the very moment my eyes locked onto his.

He was beyond handsome. Chiselled jawline but refined to take on the shape of an angel. His short hair was raven black and clean cut. He was tall, taller than Mr Crayton. If I had to guess, I'd say 6'2 6'3. The perfect height I thought. His eyes were the most amazing shade of green which stood out against his tanned skin and dark hair.

By the Goddess this man was stunning. His scent was faint as he hadn't been here long, but I got a slight whiff of coffee beans and soap... my brows furrowed at the last smell. Wait, I smelt that just before, I'm not sure if I smelt correctly this time either or if I was mistaking the smell. I sniffed the air again, oh my, it's Jasmine. Coffee beans and Jasmine.

Either way, even if it is soap I giggle to myself, I'd like to get to know him. At that very thought I shook my head free of that thought. What the hell are you thinking? You know you can't. Demonic would kill you literally. I was snapped out of my daze by Mr Craytons voice.

"Right, you bunch of half brained air heads with no respect stop"! Mr Crayton was glaring at everyone, and he growled his words.

That's not like him I thought. Lots seem to be off today. Shaking the thought away as if I miss heard. I might just be going crazy, that's it, I decided to tell myself. Mr Crayton gestured to Sexy Man and I felt my cheeks flush, and my body started to get hot at the thought I just had. I glanced around and yep it was just me. I tried focusing my thoughts on something else.

"It's not working, shit."! I muttered to myself. Trying to control the flush of heat and the feeling of wetness I've got happening between my legs.

"Come on, Introduce yourself"! My Crayton said a lot louder than he intended. Making himself cringed and apologising to the new student instantly.

Laughing embarrassingly while rubbing the back of his beautiful short raven black hair, one hand in the pocket of his jeans, he nodded to Mr Crayton, oh how I'd like to be that hand... Oh, my goodness, snap out of it, I shake my head free of the naughty thoughts I was having just in time to hear the new student talk.

"Hi, I'm Loclyn but I prefer to be called Loc or, or Locy. I am 18 soon like umm like the rest of you" he stutters nervously.

"Um... I just moved here from the Wind Howler Pack." This time he said his words proudly and no stutter.

"I am usually shy, and this is embarrassing." He added as he was blushing.

"Thank you, Locy," My Crayton said.

"Don't forget everyone, papers on ancient history are due in four weeks. I look forward to reading some of my students' assignments and some of my students I don't look forward to reading at all. You know who you are, illiterate pompous twits" he chuckled.

I wasn't sure how to feel about the thoughts I just had so I grabbed my stuff and practically ran past him to get out of the classroom. On the way out I caught myself reading his mind and had to force myself to move quicker and check the time so I didn't hear anything he said. I haven't fully grasped the mind reading and most times it just happens when it wants to. It gives me the worse headaches and make me feel sick in the stomach.
