Lulu looked up at him in turn to find his eyes red, seemingly drunk but not exactly.

She chugged her glass again and frowned as Zachary filled her glass again.

Picking up his own, he asked, "Cheers?"

Lulu cooperatively clinked glasses with him, and he said, "Please be honest with me. Do you really not have any feelings for me?'

Lulu appeared weirded out for a moment but soon calmed down and replied determinedly, "No."

Zachary's heart hurt so much that it felt like being stabbed, and he almost blurted his thoughts.

Instead, he held back and rose to his feet, wobbling as if drunk. "I wanted to have a heart-to-heart with you, but you just can't be honest… I'm going to bed."
