Eero's perspective

When a child loses their mother, in the blink of an eye, the world becomes a strange place in their eyes, but if it's a mother who loses her child, not only does it become a strange place, but for them, the world will stop completely.

Cielo sighed, holding a tray in her hand, while the one that she served me for lunch remained untouched by me. I knew that she was getting déjà vu.

“You were like this when you first got here. You don't talk to anyone, and you never eat your food.”

Claudius walked in. It felt like seeing him for the first time after we had buried our firstborn pup.

“Leave us alone, Cielo,” he said. Not only did Claudius grow cold and distant towards me. He was doing the same thing to Cielo.

“Alpha Claudius…"

“Do you want me to banish you from my pack, or you'll do just as I say? Have you forgotten, you were at fault too? If you didn't fall asleep. Perseus wouldn't be taken away and killed!” He hissed at Cielo.

I looked at her and nodded
