One Hundred And Nine

After a few days the quarrel ended. Today is the day when the math exam takes place. Today is Friday. I was left at home alone by Mom. Terrence was going to his colleague's place this afternoon and he had been leaving since morning. I was alone with some of Terrence's pet ornamental fish. I've been doing well on my exams these past few days. I think I did all the questions properly and correctly. Today there will only be one exam and that is the subject I dislike the most.

I'm trying to clear that annoying exam quickly. I did get it done and now I'm just sitting on the side porch. I enjoyed the breeze that afternoon with a bit of sleepiness. I wanted to sleep, but I couldn't sleep when I was home alone.

The doorbell rang several times. I tiptoed in surprise. I didn't feel like ordering food or anything. But suddenly someone rang the doorbell. I immediately left with unsteady steps. I opened the main door and was surprised to see a black-haired middle-aged woman smiling
