Seventy One

“Are you okay? No one was hurt, right?” Terrence asked while examining my whole body.

I shook my head slowly and said that I was fine. I only went into mild shock because the limousine actually hit an oak tree at the end of the road. My knees were just a little bit scuffed and it wasn't a big deal. Terrence came here after Judith called him.

Now he told me to come home with him and not attend Nina's invitation. Once again, I wanted to reject him because I felt bad for Nina. But the overprotective look given by Terrence seemed to make me fragile.

Terrence is hiding something now. And maybe it has to do with the letter that yesterday was thrown by a prankster into our room.

"Well, I'll call Nina later and say that I had an accident."

"It was a good choice. Now go to get in the car." Terrence gave me an order.
