Chapter 36

A sweet fragrance tickled his nose, and a slightly noisy sound was heard. Lucius smiled a little while looking at something brown in front of him. It was cold and he saw the woman before she stuck out her tongue. He gave a small smile because of that.

“Gelato? You really like it?” asked Lucius. He also immediately tasted the gelato that Riley had ordered.

“My dad used to bring me here when I was little and I chose you, a flavor that I really like. It hasn't changed at all since then."

Riley went back to eating the gelato in her hands, they held their cones tight so the ice cream wouldn't fall.

“I like this too, even though I'm not really into sweets. But the coldness of ice can't extinguish the heat of my feelings for you."

Riley knew very well that this man in front of her was teasing her, showing off her deadly charm, that's why she held back and the nape of her neck felt so hot. Riley wanted to act normal, she wanted to face it calmly.
