CHAPTER 39

Declan's love for Margaux was felt minute by minute, hour by hour and second by second.

It wasted no time in delivering whatever the maiden desired, including Margaux's food.

But what stands out above all is that Declan will always find his way with her wherever she goes, which Margaux suspects is an overreaction on his part.

"Darl... could you please tell me the truth?"

Declan looked up at Margaux, who was still signing important documents on the young man's desk in front of him.

The girl sat in front of the young man in the mahogany chair because Declan wanted her to be just across from him for a few seconds to steal a glance.

"Would you like to make love, darl? Then let's go..."

"No, Darl; I've been noticing something about you lately; do you have a problem? Do we have a problem?"

Margaux was perplexed as to why the man was pressuring her to join the company, which had never been the case before. So here she is, sitting and doing nothing because Declan never assigns her any work.
