Chapter 30

He left the office almost two hours after their shift ended. He forced himself to finish all the needed documents he needed to go through, sign and pass to the higher ups. Now there's nothing else he would love to do but to go home and watch N*****x.

Maybe he'll watch Dynasty or Pretty Little Liars... or the movie that Angel suggested he watch. As he remembered, it's called Crazy Rich Asians. And she said maybe he'll relate to the movie, along with that suggestive wink of hers.

But if he was being really honest with himself, he didn't just finish the documents because he felt the urgent need to. He just really needed an excuse to stay in the office as late as he could so that he could catch up to Lissa... maybe even ask her out to eat with him like they also do after office hours.

He left his door open, almost inviting her to come inside and talk to him after the said meeting with the higher ups is done.
