Chapter 12

When Luca heard Barnald's report that Mr. Sandoval was causing trouble in his nightclub, he rushed out of his office. That old man couldn't move, and he was now shivering at the thought of putting his fist in Sandoval's face. The staff and guests were still in a commotion when Luca arrived on the main floor. Because of the crowd in front of him, he couldn't see what was going on.

"What's going on here?" he demanded sternly. When they saw Luca and recognized him, everyone moved to the side.

"One of the guests is causing the troubles, sir; he dragged someone out. But Mr. Sandoval did not proceed to take the woman because our bartender saw him and stopped him." When Luca heard the staff's explanation, his chest became heavy. One of his girls was forcibly dragged out of the casa. That can't be her, right?

The staff hadn't finished the story, when he left to see what was going on ahead. He was surprised to see Carnation on the floor and was helped to sit in the loung
