Chapter One Hundred-Nineteen

Tristan bent his head on the plate of omelet before him, moving his fork around mindlessly, his excitement from earlier having died away. Roth had reacted like the previous night was nothing, when it was actually him who asked Tristan to dance with him. Tristan had thought that that actually meant something, but apparently it was just another casual night-out for Roth.

Dancing with Tristan, their bodies moving together in such close proximity, held no meaning to Roth. For Roth, it was all just fun, nothing more than that. Tristan had lost his appetite and the anticipation for the day to come.

“Man, do you not like the omelet?” Roth had noticed him just playing with the cutlery, so he asked, focused on his own plate, cutting the toast with a knife.

Tristan looked up, “No, I am just not hungry.” He said quietly before pushing away the plate, examining Roth who just calmly nodded at that.
