Vampire Empire

We arrived right in front of the Empire, I immediately noticed something was wrong so I quietly headed to the guard's workoutroom.

"Your Highness, what happened? What are we doing here?". Natalie asked.

"Keep it down, can't you see everything has changed, even the guards at the gate have been replaced with Zeke's men". I replied before looking at the four guards with us.

"You should head back and join the army, they won't notice you were with me as long as you don't say a word". I said calmly but to my surprise they refused.

"Your Highness, we don't care, we shall stay with you!". Their voice echoed in the room.

"Yes your Highness, we don't mind what danger awaits, we will stay with you". Natalie added.

I rubbed my temples before saying, "The reign has changed, Zeke is in charge now, I'm sure all he wants is my head! Staying with me won't do you any good, if you return to the army it will. Make things easier for everyone".
