Theo’s younger self swirls around my head. A ten-year-old boy is wearing a bored look on his face. His white uniform has smudges of blood and dirt. He is holding a baseball bat and on his feet is a trembling and wounded student that is halfway on his werewolf shift. ‘What teacher?! You plan to annoy me too?!’ he asks. ‘Want to replace him on the ground?’ ‘Eugene! Students already know you are strong!
