She woke up with a start from her nap. The light was fading, but she heard the sounds of the demons down below in the hall having a feast. Mitsuhide was surprisingly absent from the room as she replayed the dream in her head. Everything had seemed so real in the dream but she didn’t know how it could be. Soon she saw the doorway in her mind that had been waiting for her to find it. As she walked through it she was somewhere else.
She was standing in a darkened cave by herself. Upset and alone is the feeling that coursed between through her veins. Even now as the dream faded, she had the feelings. She saw the last images again in her head. It was the shattered bones scattered around her. They were calling out to her. She walked down the hallway made of stone until she could find the voices that were in her head.

1The office that she worked in was a flurry of activity. Everything seemed to go wrong from everyone’s day to day work to the computers going down, and the IT department couldn’t find the problem. Her own work had been done, but when she found out that nothing from that day had been saved to the office’s mainframe, she knew a week’s work of research had been lost. She had a back up at her house but knew that re-entering all the data again could to take up to a week, plus any new research that came in and she would have to enter that as well. She was disgusted with the behavior of the grown adults acting like school children waiting for the next piece of gossip. She forgot about the underside of how to be an adult.
