Chapter 63: Spending Until Bankruptcy

The first ray of morning sunlight pierced through the window and illuminated the room. On the large bed, Isabella's alarm clock rang for the third time. She frowned and let out a dissatisfied hum with a sleepy voice. Ethan emerged from the bathroom and turned off her phone alarm.

Isabella closed her eyes and reluctantly climbed out of bed, not knowing how long she had been lying there before she slowly opened her eyes.

Ethan stood by the bed, observing her with a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, and asked, "Is anything bothering you?"

Isabella glanced at him, meeting his amused gaze. She knew exactly what he meant. The two of them had stayed up until past three o'clock last night.

"No," Isabella replied grumpily.

Then she realized her voice was hoarse... Ethan laughed again.

Isabella glared at him, pulled back the covers, and got out of bed. But as soon as she stood up, her legs went weak, and she almost stumbled to the ground.
