Clarissa
Lotus left the balls of light floating magically in the air as she returned to the table. Clarissa stared at them in awe. They were not too bright but still allowed them to see without the interruption of shadow.
“There we go. We can sssee all.” Lotus said, self-satisfied.
Clarissa’s giggles bubbled up. Lotus’s bored expression asked what was so funny. But that only made her laugh harder.
“You chose the right sage,” Clarissa said through her laughter. “You and Stefan are perfect companions.”

Blake When they returned to their room, Blake put his pup to bed. Eriyumilai rested his little head on the pillow and closed his eyes.
