Kylian drove angrily through the busy streets, to head for the hospital, as each bend and turn, took him further away from his flight. He eyed his wristwatch after every passing second. Forty more minutes…still enough time.

Emma was in the back seat, seeming to play unconscious, he had taken a few glances at his rare view mirror to see her wide awake. The whole scenario did way more than annoy him, but he could do nothing but sit through it. Kylian was determined not to let any of her silly acts withhold him from his little getaway.
