The blue Cadillac glided down the winding road, Chloe's fingers firmly gripping the steering wheel. She kept her gaze fixed ahead, unresponsive to the chirping crickets in the trees that flanked the road. The moon hung large in the sky, casting a silver glow over the dark, looming clouds that filled the atmosphere.

Her mind was too preoccupied to fully appreciate the beauty of the night. The soft breeze that was whispering past her car's windows went unnoticed as she gripped the steering wheel tightly. Chloe's thoughts were consumed by what she was about to do and the consequences that would follow.
