Two weeks later!

In as much as Melissa wouldn't like to admit it, she was enjoying being an employee at Rolas Incorporation. Everyone was kind and respectful to her and she was most grateful that Damien kept his distance and all of their conversations have been strictly business.

Mel got to work on time and went straight to the kitchen to help herself with a cup of coffee. She was about to make the coffee when a familiar chatty voice came through.

"Hi."

Melissa turned around to take a glance at the person. It was Betty with a calm smile.

"Hi," Mel replied with a polite smile.

"You wanna make coffee? Let me help you." Betty said, approaching Melissa by the kitchen counter.

"Oh no, it's fine, I've got it."

"No, please let me give you a hand." Betty insisted and got to the front of the machine.

She did her thing and Melissa stood still, staring at her. The coffee was ready in a few, Betty added some milk and handed it to Mel.
