Chapter 40

Two months has passed and no word from Krystal or Karan. DJ was worried about her wellbeing and Tony was feeling defeated. He was acting more recklessly the week before the second month ended but when it ended and no sign of Krystal coming back. He went back to being depressed and locking himself in his room. Only to come out late in the evening with a new mission in mind. DJ was getting fed up with his actions but most importantly he was worried that he will get himself killed.

This morning DJ was busy with his work when an email came through, he thought it was the investor he worked with or someone from his company. He clicked on the email and sighed in defeat when he saw the contents. It was an email from Krystal, and it read:

Dear DJ,

I trust this mail finds you in good health.

I know I was supposed to return last week but I could not. It was my decision; Karan needs me, and I think I am falling for him. Do not judge me please for falling for a monste
