Chapter 17 - Jude Ashford
Jude POV
I couldn’t hang around any longer. Watching Bonnie getting engaged once again and saying yes to that guy made my blood boil. I couldn’t just watch as she wastes her life marrying that fuck boy. He’s not enough man for her. She needs someone that knows how to treat her, someone that will treat her like the fucking Queen she is and he is not the man for that.
I throw my keys onto the table next to the door and take my shoes off before I remove my jacket and tie and place it on the back of the dining table chair. Opening the liquor cabinet, I pour myself a whiskey and sink on the couch, turning the tv on.
I watch the news, and Fred is on all of them. His name is being dragged on the mud and he has been suspended from the team until further notice. That woman is really fucking up his life. I stretch my arm, grabbing my MacBook, and I open it. Time to stalk her social media and see what I can find.

Jude POVI can’t sleep tonight. My mind is in overdrive and I have too much to think about. The way Bonnie is treating me and how she was reacting to her fiancé? She really doesn’t love him and I need to show her that. I decided to focus on finding a good P.I. in London. I might need my brothers to help me with that. I want to find out everything about him.I send a quick email to my P.I. in New York for him to find out every little secret from that guy; I want to know what time he goes to the bathroom for a shit in the morning, that’s the kind of detail I want investigating. I ask him for recommendations from people in London in case he knows anyone.The dinner last night was tedious and today we have the first book signing in central London.
