Cassandra gave a small nod. She had known her husband for more than three years but she still didn't know anything about him other than what he showed her.

All this time she had never asked her husband any questions or sought information about him directly. Perhaps this was also because she always felt disappointed and resentful of Bill who she could never rely on.
