Chapter 34: Voice

“Yo, man! How are you?” Jake greeted when Kazimir arrived.

“We’re still alive,” he answered nonchalantly and glanced at me for a moment, but then his eyes darted to my son in my arms and I saw how his lips twitched.

“Is that your son with Zeno?” Kazimir asked, then approached me.

I smiled and looked at Czy, who was smiling while looking at me. He raised his hands and pointed his fingers at me before letting out a giggle.

“Yes,” I replied while looking at Czy with loving eyes.

“No offense, but he looks exactly like Zeno,” he stated, which made me chuckle. Czy is precisely like Zeno, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got his attitude.

“What’s his name?” Kazimir inquired.

“Czyanne Gael Villareal Mercedes,” I retorted.

“It’s a nice name,” he said and tried to get Czy from me, which I allowed him. While examining Kazimir, he looks at my son with a loving gaze. His aura became vulnerable as if he got affected by Czy’s aura.
