The atmosphere was cold as the electricity had gone off. None had a clue on what was happening but for Patricia who had explained the reasons behind the blackout to the rest who were shocked by what she said. Nobody could utter a word, they stood still staring at each other with a torchlight in their hand. 

"What did you mean dead?" They all chorused. 

"The heroes are dead," Patricia replied with tears flowing down from her light blue eyes. 

"And that is the reason for the blackout," Patricia said, still in tears while others stood still thinking about what Patricia just said.

"I'm not sure they're dead, and how did you know? " Mrs Smith asked Patricia. 

"I can hear Eddie groan, can feel his pains," Patricia said, tears still in her eyes.
