Chapter 43: Make the pain stop.

Arthur immediately pounced on the lycan but he stopped for some reason as he felt something was wrong and he knew that it had something to do with Amelia.

And instead of going on with what he had originally planned to do, he shifted and walked up to Amelia and Adrian took the initiative of finishing the lycan.

Amelia started to feel dizzy and the pain in her shoulders did nothing to help her. Not being able to handle it anymore, she gave in and fell.

Arthur however caught her before she could reach the ground. “Are you okay?” he asked. To his horror, black veins appeared under her skin and it started to spread to her body.

“No!” Cara yelled as she rushed over to where they were. Alphaeus was right behind her.

And when they got to where Arthur and Amelia were, he didn’t waste any time in teleporting them to Arthur’s mansion.

“Carry her into the room, she has been poisoned,” Cara said and Arthur immediately carried her up to her room and he placed her on the bed.
