Deja Vu

Zaya POV

My mate has stopped purposely avoiding me and begun fake paying attention to me while in the company of others. We’ve been pretending for days, which hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be.

I’d spent the last few days with Anna organizing the arrival of some Alpha and his Luna. Since it was only them, I set up a few rooms here in the Alpha house. I figured they would arrive with a few guards. I had Anna prepare a home not far from the Alpha house for them.

This project kept me busy during the day.

Grodric kept himself busy in meetings all week with different groups of people. Though he hasn’t said a word about what those meetings were about, I could tell it was military related. I got my confirmation when my mid-day training session was canceled due to perimeter runs.
