Instead of listening to Cesilia's words, Alexander tightened his embrace around Casandra, burying and dissolving all the sadness he was feeling at the moment. If he had the chance to be honest and grant Cesilia's request, Alexander would have asked her to disappear from his sight along with Casandra.

Alexander didn't want Casandra to witness the intense pain he felt, which pierced his heart, not out of love, but because of the betrayal she had committed, tarnishing his reputation and disrespecting him as a husband.
