"Your work?" Alexander raised an eyebrow, looking at Robert who was now seated in front of his desk.

"Isn't it obvious? Working outside and finishing a pile of tasks that need to be done by this evening."

Robert shrugged. "Yes, there's a lot, but there's something important I need to discuss with you."

"Go on," Alexander placed the pen on his desk, leaning back in his chair. He was ready to listen to whatever Robert had to say. He was sure this had something to do with Cesilia just now.

Indeed, it had been bothering him too, distracting him from his work. Despite having so much work to do lately, he found himself preoccupied with household matters and the gossip about Casandra.
