Chapter 64

Maddog’s Maddox point of view.

It’s been one hell of a long week since Laila’s been taken. A long and frustrating week after the team rescued Emily, I’ve spent every minute looking for Laila and the Rocco brothers, but everything came up empty. I’m frustrated and extremely worried over my sister, especially after seeing with my own eyes what these sick fuckers have been up to with these women. I swear if they've laid one finger on her, I will kill the lot of them with my bare hands.

It’s 11 am on a Tuesday morning, and I find myself back at the bunker office trying to get a trace on something or anything that will lead us to the Rocco brothers…I’m in a world of my own when Jake walks in and places a hand on my shoulder as he says.

“How’s it going, Maddox?”

I let out a frustrated sigh as I say.

“Nothing! I can't get a trace on any one of them.”

He flops down in the chair facing me, turning to look at me as he says.
