After returning from my hunt I went home to rest my mind a bit but Annie wouldn't get out of my head. How could she discard such an important part of herself and not even feel bad? Is she really willing to die as a human rather than live as a wolf?

I'm angry.

Hours later I manage to sleep and wake up at 8:30 am. I don't even mind arriving late and I get ready in the most beautiful calm, my coffee was ready by Rita, the housekeeper, a 43-year-old brown widow. I drink coffee and head to the company.

At least Annie won't be there to distract me and Rafa has gone to visit one of the branches on my behalf and won't bother me.

I go to the meeting room on my floor when I arrive at the company, for a meeting with partners, and I stay there trying my best to focus on business problems rather than personal and wolfish ones.

The meeting ends at 11:40 am and like a good host I lead them to the elevator to say goodbye.
