Nevea entered the cell to meet Kiara two hours after Zach ended his session. She remembered how pale Zach’s face was and how much his body shook after seeing her. That alone could tell her that Kiara had described or shown him something horrible. At least, this time, he didn’t run away from her.

Instead, he seeks comfort from her.

Taking a few deep breaths, Nevea finally walked closer to Kiara. She actually didn’t know what to expect from this conversation with Kiara. At first, Kiara seemed to be her ally, but now it didn’t feel like that anymore.

Kiara knew too many things; even her motive was still grey.

“You look great.” Kiara began. “And the mark looks disgustingly beautiful.”

Nevea instantly touched the mark on her neck. “You don’t like it? It’s pretty, though.”

Kiara clicked her tongue. “I’ve seen that mark before, Nevea. You have given yourself to him again. What a surprise.” Kiara said with a flat tone.
