I turned to look at the tree and then at Anton. Maybe it will work, I said to myself, then out loud, “Tree let him go.” Immediately, I turned to see if the branches had already freed him. And to my greatest surprise, they had. The branches little by little unhook from Anton's body, leaving him lying on the ground.
