"Hey! Aren't you supposed to be with mom? Why are you calling me again?." I question Tiana the moment I picked up her call.

"I know, right? I just want to tell you that I might be home late today. Are you okay with that?." She asked in a careful tone.

"Are you crazy, Tiana? You expect me to be upset because you're spending time with your mom? You're crazy, I hope you know that."

"I know but... I'm just worried about you..." She trailed off.

"You should be more worried about yourself because, the moment you step your foot into this house, I'm going to beat the hell out of you. I'm not a kid!" I threatened her even though, I wasn't going to do anything to her. I was only trying to pull her legs.
