Chapter 17: Saving Vince and Ira

"Vince, wait!" Isabelle tried to run after Vince who was striding in big steps going towards his car parked in front of their department building.

Vince could actually hear her but because of her flirtatious action towards Scott a while ago, he felt totally insulted.

He thought they already had a mutual understanding that they were in a serious relationship.

But he guessed it wrong!

"Vince, why are you ignoring me?" Isabelle grabbed his hand before Vince could open the door of his black Aston Martin car.

But Vince brushed her hands off. As he opened the door, he got in and drove away.

"Vince!" Isabelle exclaimed.

Near the parking lot, Ira was sneering while she watched the two 'funny couple' having a fight.

"Enjoying the view huh!" a stone-cold voice rang behind her.

"Professor, you almost scared me!" Ira said as she turned around and saw Scott smirking at her with his hands crossed over his chest.

"ALMOST scared? Normal humans will say, 'You scared me!
