“What happened?”
I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck and I can hardly life my arms. It’s like I am being weighed down by rocks piled onto my chest. I try to sit up but to no avail.
“Here let me help you,” says Gunner as he helps me sit up and puts a cup of water with a straw to my lips.
“Thank you.”
“That was incredibly stupid of you Kat! What were you thinking! You could’ve died! What if I didn’t get here in time huh?! Then what!?”
I growl at Kai to shut up. I don’t need him scolding my mate. She is my responsibility now and a Luna. She reacted just like a Luna.
“She is a Luna Kai and you will respect her as such. I don’t care if you are her brother you….”
