Gunner packed his things quickly and I had to pretend to be sad that he is leaving. Gunner leaves instructions with Lucas on what needs to be done and like the good Luna I am, I assure Gunner we will handle everything just fine.

“Go Gunner, we got this. We can handle the pack for a week. Tell Adelaide I said hello.”

“I don’t have to be gone a week, I can come back sooner if needed.”

“With the flight alone it won’t give you much time to trace the child’s family. Don’t worry Gunner, we’ll be fine and if I truly need anything I can link Kai,” I say, reminding him of my bracelet.
